Well , we did find out everything and the new financial director certainly let us know it all . It turns out that about £4.5 million are lost ,stolen , gone awol ,whatever you want to call it ,so there is no money left in our funds at all , BUT we do still have the boat .Unlike some people who have put money into a new boat thats not yet been launched and is still in Poland ,we dont know what is going to happen with them , i hope they get a boat out of it at least .
The Old management team are going to put a new company together and run it in exactly the same way as the old with some new rules in place for transparency on boat accounts ,but to be honest now the bad apple is gone i dont see a need for this . im too trusting ,I know .Until then though ,we are on our own . We have a great syndicate so we shall be ok and may even decide to go it alone for the future ,we shall see . it might turn out to be too much hassle on the turnaround days especially ,and also on the boat servicing then we will all decide a management company is for us .I am hoping that we can still use the same management company whatever they decide to call it ( i like the name kingfisher boatshare ) as they know the boat .
